The Purpose
This ministry aims to help women of all ages to seek, meet, serve, and share Jesus in an authentic way. We strive to see women devote their hearts and souls to seeking and serving God through Bible study (2 Timothy 3:16-17), prayer (Philippians 4:6-7), fellowship (Acts 2:42), mentorship (Titus 2:3-5), and evangelism (Matthew 28: 18-20).
The Vision
The long term vision for the Women’s Ministry is to see more and more women seek, meet, serve, and share Jesus. We seek to encourage one another to be godly women who are rooted in God’s Word and who live out biblical womanhood. We desire to see women to be helpers and encouragers. We want to equip women to use their spiritual gifts to serve God and others. We seek to foster community and accountability among the women.
Core Values
Our Foundation
We believe God’s Word is our foundation for our ministry and for our lives because it teaches us how to live (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Our Purpose
We believe women's ministry should help build and strengthen community in the church (Hebrews 10:24-25).
Our Belief
We believe Jesus is our Lord, Savior, and perfect example by which to live life (Romans 10:9; Ephesians 5:1-2).
Our Role
We believe our role is to help and serve others by using our gifts and talents to build God's Kingdom (1 Peter 4:10-11).
Theology of Womanhood
- We believe both men and women are created equally in God’s image but have different roles (Genesis 2).
- We believe in biblical submission and male headship (Ephesian 5:22-33, 1 Peter 3:1-7, 1 Corinthians 11:1-16).
- We believe older women should train the younger women (Titus 2:3-5).
